For too long, politics has been dominated by career politicians, big-money donors, and backroom deals.

The Progressive Unity Party was created to break that cycle.
I’m Alan, and I founded this party because, like so many of you, I’m tired of seeing ordinary people ignored while the powerful look after themselves.

I’m not a career politician.

I don’t have a string of wealthy donors pulling my strings.
And unlike others – yes, Nigel, we’re looking at you – I’m not afraid to release my tax returns. Because transparency should never be optional. 👀

Before politics, I worked in hospitality and then later worked for the NHS, where I saw first-hand the amazing work our doctors, nurses, and staff do every single day. But I also saw how broken and underfunded the system is. They need support – and real leadership – now more than ever.

Hate will never fix what’s broken.

Reform UK is shouting louder than ever: detention camps, deportation flights, tearing up human rights. They want you to believe the real threat to Britain is a few thousand desperate people crossing the Channel. But when your schools are crumbling, NHS waiting lists are growing, and families are struggling to pay bills, ask yourself: is this really the biggest issue we face?

Hate will never fix what’s broken. Only humanity will.

Crime has no colour. No flag. No nationality. Yet Reform would have you believe that turning neighbour against neighbour is a solution. It isn’t. It’s theatre – words designed to divide, distract, and harvest anger. But anger won’t build a single home or shorten a hospital queue or fix our economy.

The truth is this: Britain’s problems did not start with small boats. They started with broken systems, sold-off housing, chronic underfunding of essential services, and politicians more interested in slogans than solutions. Nigel Farage and Reform were part of the problem; now they pretend to be the cure.

The Progressive Unity Party’s Approach

Firm but fair borders: If you enter illegally, you will not receive benefits. Illegal entry will mean swift, fair removal. Criminal gangs not families fleeing persecution will be our priority.

Safe, legal routes: The best way to stop the boats is to make them unnecessary. Expand safe and legal asylum routes, close the market for smugglers, and show the world that Britain can be strong and compassionate.

Invest in what matters: Immigration is not the reason your GP appointment takes weeks or your children’s school roof is leaking. We will invest in housing, healthcare, and education – because these are the foundations of a strong nation.

Truth, not fear: We will not lie to you. Illegal immigration must be addressed, but it is one part of a much bigger picture. We refuse to let fear and hate distract from the real work ahead.

A flag is just fabric. What defines Britain are its values: fairness, decency, humanity. Turning those values into weapons of division is not patriotism – it’s weakness.

Hate will never fix what’s broken. Only humanity will.

This is the Progressive Unity Party promise: a Britain that is strong on security, firm on fairness, and unshakable on compassion. We will protect our borders and our people, but we will not lose ourselves in the process. We will confront the real problems – the ones that existed long before small boats became headlines – and we will do it honestly.

The Progressive Unity Party expresses profound concern over the recent treatment of Ukrainian President Zelensky during his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance in the Oval Office.

We wish to reiterate that it was Russia who invaded Ukraine in 2014, unlawfully occupying Crimea and supporting armed groups in Eastern Ukraine. Despite multiple ceasefire agreements, Russia has violated these truces 25 times before launching a full-scale invasion in February 2022.

Furthermore, we are deeply disappointed and concerned by the comments made by Reform UK Leader, Nigel Farage, who has falsely stated that President Zelensky was rude. This is not a true reflection of what happened, and it is deeply troubling that a UK political party leader is pushing misinformation. Spreading falsehoods in this manner mirrors the tactics used by Vladimir Putin and his regime. It is unacceptable for any UK leader to distort facts in a way that undermines Ukraine’s legitimate fight for sovereignty and international support.

The Progressive Unity Party stands firmly with President Zelensky and the people of Ukraine in their pursuit of sovereignty and peace. We urge all nations to recognise the importance of supporting Ukraine against aggression and to engage in diplomacy that respects Ukraine's territorial integrity and the will of its people.

We also firmly believe in the necessity of strengthening the United Kingdom’s national defence. Our party is committed to increasing defence spending as quickly as possible to ensure our armed forces are well-equipped to meet modern security challenges. A strong defence is not just about deterrence—it is about preparedness. We must ramp up the production of weapons, munitions, and military infrastructure to ensure our forces have the resources they need to defend the UK and support our allies.

Our party will advocate for a strategic investment in the UK’s defence sector, supporting innovation, domestic production, and the expansion of our military capabilities. We must not be caught unprepared in an era where authoritarian threats are growing, and global security is increasingly fragile.

The Progressive Unity Party remains steadfast in our commitment to Ukraine, our armed forces, and the defence of democracy worldwide. We call upon all UK political leaders to stand united against misinformation, foreign aggression, and the weakening of our nation’s security capabilities. The time to act is now.
