Please be advised that Kingstanding Library will close at 4pm today (Friday 14th August) due to staff shortages.

The library will re-open on Saturday 15th August at 9am.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

We've got lots of music based activities for our younger readers to take part in over the school holiday to tie in with the theme of this year's Summer Reading Challenge which is Read to The Beat.

Our Tuesday and Friday activities are drop in, no booking required.

The Jungle Jam Songwriting activity booking is required as spaces are limited, you can either speak to staff in Kingstanding Library or call us on 0121 464 5193 to reserve your child's space.

Please be advised that all children aged under 8 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Compass Birmingham are hosting Summer Arts & Crafts drop-in sessions at Kingstanding Library every Tuesday in August 10am-12pm.

These activities will be suitable for primary school age children who must be accompanied by an adult.

We can't wait to see what our young borrowers create!

Don't forget we've got Explore Learning joining us tomorrow (Saturday 1st August) at 2:15pm-3:15pm for a FREE song-writing workshop suitable for ages 5-11 years old.

As spaces are limited please call the library on 0121 464 5193 to book your place.
