We are delighted to announce an exciting new chapter in our annual Christmas celebrations! ✨

Students from BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy and BOA Creative, Digital & Performing Arts Academy are coming together to present a spectacular production of A Christmas Carol this Christmas 🎭

Marking our 11th home-produced Christmas show, this production begins a brand-new collaborative tradition across the BOA Group — bringing together the incredible talents of students from both academies to create a truly magical festive experience.

Step into a world of Christmas magic as Ebenezer Scrooge embarks on a wondrous journey guided by the spirits of Christmas past, present, and future. Filled with sparkling songs, spectacular dance numbers, colourful sets, festive cheer, and heartwarming moments for the whole family, this vibrant musical promises laughter, music, and holiday wonder for audiences of all ages 🎄

Our Music Pathway BOA Social Action Youth Ambassadors recently visited West Heath Primary School to work with Year 5 and 6 students on music composition 🎶🌟

From body percussion rhythms to singing along while Dan played guitar, the students fully embraced every moment of the session. Watching their confidence grow as they explored music, creativity, and performance was incredibly rewarding.

For schools with limited access to music and arts provision, opportunities like this can make a real difference — giving young people the chance to express themselves, discover new skills, and experience the joy of creating together.

We’ve got some incredible news to celebrate at BOA 🎉

On Saturday, the Inspirational Youth Awards marked its 4th year – now celebrating outstanding young people right across the UK – and BOA was proudly recognised on the national stage 🏆

We are absolutely thrilled to share that BOA Creative, Digital and Performing Arts Academy has been named Youth Project of the Year for our Youth Social Action Project, delivered with the support and sponsorship of Ormiston Trust 🤝

The award was accepted on behalf of BOA by Mr Higgins, who works closely with programme lead Mary Savva on the BOA Super Saturday School – an intensive 8-week programme running alongside our wider workshop offer, extending opportunity and access to high-quality arts provision 🎭

This project continues to empower BOA students as creative leaders and ambassadors for the Arts, giving them the opportunity to design and deliver workshops in local primary schools. In doing so, they are inspiring the next generation and helping more young people access meaningful creative experiences ✨

To date, the initiative has built partnerships with 25 local primary schools, reaching 6,591 children over five years through free workshops, performances and creative engagement 👏

A brilliant example of youth-led action, creativity and sustained community impact 💡💫

Thank you to all staff, partners and students for helping us keep the flag flying high for accessible arts education for all 🎓

Students Vs Teachers Football Game ⚽️

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Year 11 vs. Staff football match last week. We hit the pitch for a 6-a-side game to raise money for the incredible Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

It was an action-packed game ending in an 8-2 win for the teachers, featuring some stellar goals from Mr. Singh and Shem. Thank you to everyone who played, cheered, and donated! 🏆
