From 1st September Glebe Farm Library will be renamed Glebe Farm Community Hub. It will be run by Welcome Change Community Interest Company and will continue to offer some library services as well as a wide range of community services:

This change is part of a citywide plan to improve library services, which was agreed by the Council in February 2025.

What’s Staying the Same:
• You can still borrow and return books, use computers and Wi-Fi, and take part in community activities.
• Friendly staff and volunteers will be there to help.
• Libraries will remain welcoming spaces for reading, learning, and events.

What’s Changing:
• Local organisation, Welcome Change, will now manage the day-to-day running of Library
• Some services, like resetting your Library account PIN or making overdue book payment charges, will only be available at Council-run libraries. Staff will help guide you if needed.

Need Help?
Information and support will be available in the library and online, including:
• A list of services you can still use
• Directions to the nearest full-service Council library
