We will have obtained at least two full relevant professional references that cover a two year period, run through your CV to ensure that any gaps over the last 10 years are explained and covered by a character reference. We will have checked the prohibited and barred list, completed a Smile DBS or checked the update service, copied and verified original qualification, ID, eligibility to work in the UK and proof of address documents and run a google search! All of these checks and others are vital to ensure that we are safeguarding children and providing you with suitable roles.
