In an emergency always call 999. The Northfield Safe Haven Team work in the areas of Longbridge and Northfield. The team consists of PCSO Kerry Floddy, Pc Chris Turner and PC Richard Barber. The aim is to engage with young people (between 7-17 years of age) within these areas, through community events of all type, from, football tournaments and leagues, to fun days, sports initiatives, dance sessi

ons, keep fit and self defence sessions, partnership work and bid writing (with partners, independently and young people). The Safe Haven team assist act as mentors and role models, and assist individuals in their personal development. We have helped YP get into work placements, and provided different types of training, such as football coaching and Pertemps workplacement initiatives....ALL IDEAS OF FUTURE COURSES, TRAINING EVENTS ARE WELCOME!!! Our main purpose is to engage with young people and highlight what they can bring to their community in order to improve their area, and help shape the future. In turn this provides a huge feeling of self worth and achievement and can develop young people as potential future community leaders. We are 'Young person led', so any ideas no matter how big or small will be backed by our Team.
