The Lighthouse|Young Peoples Centre The Lighthouse: Provides Sports activities|Multimedia Training and Health & Wellbeing Projects for young people 13-19

The lighthouse is an iconic multipurpose youth centre located on Alma Way, a site chosen specifically because it borders areas divided by local groups and is currently seen as a 'gateway' to guns and crime. The development is funded by Department of Education and administered through the BIG LOTTERY. High quality youth work will be developed in a setting that:

ities for young people. Creates a safe space where young people can achieve

Improves partnership and collaborative work. Key to the success of this project is working in partnership and young peoples involvement. This project has been developed and delivered through a consortium of partners including Young Disciples, Bangladeshi Youth Forum, City United. The beneficairies of The LightHouse are young people aged 13-19, male and female in Aston, Newtown and Lozells.
