To the driver of the white Ford Transit van responsible for fly-tipping on Victoria Road, Stechford – we have your vehicle details.

An enforcement penalty notice will be on its way.

Across Birmingham, we are taking a tougher approach to those who think it's acceptable to dump rubbish on our streets. Fly-tipping blights our neighbourhoods and taxpayers shouldn't have to foot the bill for clearing up after offenders.

If you choose to fly-tip, we will pursue you. Your time is coming.

Together, let's keep our communities clean. Report fly-tipping and help us hold offenders to account.

It was a pleasure to support today's Community Day at Oaklands Recreation Ground alongside Cllr Atikur Rehman.

It was great to see so many local families enjoying the event and taking the opportunity to meet our emergency services and partner organisations. Events like these help bring communities together and strengthen the relationship between residents and the services that support them.

As always, it's good to be out in the community, meeting residents, listening to their views, and celebrating everything that makes our area such a great place to live.

Thank you to everyone who helped organise such a successful day.

​Another fly-tipping hotspot cleaned up in Neston Grove, Stechford! Local residents shouldn't have to deal with dumped rubbish on our streets.

​We are taking a firm stance against fly-tipping across Birmingham:

•​More CCTV monitoring key areas

•​More Enforcement Officers patrolling our streets

•​Strict penalties for offenders

Druids Heath Regeneration

Today I joined officers on a walkabout around Druids Heath to see firsthand the condition of the estate and discuss the proposed regeneration programme.

It was a valuable opportunity to look at the challenges facing the area while also recognising the huge potential for investment and renewal. Regeneration must deliver high-quality homes, improved public spaces and a better environment for existing and future residents.

As Cabinet Member for Housing, I am committed to ensuring residents remain at the heart of this programme. Thank you to the officers for their time and insights during today's visit. I look forward to working together to help deliver a regeneration that truly benefits the whole community.

Visited Marlborough House Community Park today, only to find dumped mattresses, broken furniture, and litter scattered around. Our community deserves clean, safe, and welcoming parks—not dumping grounds.

​I am arranging to have this fly-tipping cleared and a litter pick organized as a priority. Beyond just cleaning up, I will also be pushing hard to put forward the case for future investment in our park to give it the care, maintenance, and improvements it truly deserves.

🌻 Community Allotment Open Day 🌻

It was a pleasure to attend the Community Allotment Open Day at Francis Road Allotments this afternoon.

A fantastic event bringing residents of all ages and backgrounds together to enjoy the outdoors, meet new people and celebrate the amazing work being done by local volunteers. It was great to see families enjoying the activities, refreshments and the welcoming community spirit on display.
