Our Birmingham AIDS & HIV Memorial and Smallbrook Queensway have recently had a thorough jet wash, helping to freshen up these important spaces and keep Southside looking clean, welcoming and cared for. ✨

It’s all part of our ongoing work to keep our district looking its best for businesses, residents and visitors. 💜

A familiar name, a much-loved spot, and part of so many memories in Birmingham’s Chinatown.

Our Southside Wardens work closely with our partners across the district — including ASB Officers, Southside Street Watch volunteers and City Pastors — to help create a safer, friendlier and more welcoming Southside.

From supporting businesses and visitors to keeping an eye out for issues and offering a friendly presence on our streets, it’s the power of partnership that makes a real difference. 🤝

If you see our Wardens or partners out and about in Southside, say hello! 👋 They’re always happy to chat, help where they can and connect with the businesses and community.

✨ Southside Self Defence Workshop – What a Great Session! 💪

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our Southside Self Defence Workshop. Exclusively free for Southside businesses, the workshop provided practical skills and knowledge to help participants feel more confident about their personal safety.

From self-defence and escape techniques to verbal de-escalation, awareness and confidence-building, Fay created a friendly and supportive session where everyone could learn at their own pace.

A huge thank you to Fay Goodman for sharing her expertise and making the workshop so engaging and empowering, and to Southside Building for hosting us.

We’re proud to support initiatives that help make Southside a safer, stronger and more connected district. 💙
