Lea Forest Primary Academy is a key member of the Academies Enterprise Trust (AET), the operational arm of the Greensward Charitable Trust, which is a federation of academies created to provide thousands of students/pupils with the best possible education. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the well being and welfare of all of our children and young people and expect all staff and volu

nteers to share this commitment. We work hard to provide a stimulating environment in which each child can realise their full potential, developing their individual abilities, alongside the acquisition of skills and establishing positive values and attitudes. Lea Forest Primary Academy is a larger than average two form entry community academy that was originally built as two separate buildings over an extensive site in 1938. The academy has approximately 450 children on role from 3 to 11 years old. There are 12 classes across our Key Stage 1 and 2 phases and a dedicated Foundation stage with separate Nursery and Reception departments. Please feel free to contact the main office should you have any questions our friendly and helpful staff are always happy to help.

Information for Parents and Carers in Year 3

Please be aware children moving into Year 3 in September will no longer be eligible to receive Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) therefore it is important that you do complete a FSM check, if this comes back as not eligible then you will be charged if your child has a school meal (£2.55 per meal)

What do you need to do?
We are asking all parents—especially those whose financial circumstances may have changed or who are currently receiving Universal Credit—to check their eligibility as soon as possible.

Birmingham City Council provides a quick, secure, and confidential online checking service. Please follow these simple steps:

Go to the Birmingham City Council FSM checking portal: https://apply.cloudforedu.org.uk/

Parent Reminder - Water Bottles

Please remember to send your child to school with a refillable water bottle every day. Staying hydrated keeps everyone refreshed, focused, and ready to learn.

Please make sure your child’s bottle is clearly labeled with their full name and class. Named bottles make it much easier to reunite lost items with their rightful owners at the end of the day.

Thank you for your help.
