I know how tough the cost of living has been, especially for older residents on fixed incomes. That’s why I wanted to share some positive news.
This year, 143,406 pensioners here in Birmingham will benefit from an increase in the State Pension. For many, this uplift will help ease everyday pressures and provide a bit more security.
Our pensioners have given so much to our city over the years, and they deserve dignity, stability, and support in retirement. I’ll continue to speak up on issues that matter to older residents and their families.
