Birmingham Fight Racism Fight Imperialism / RCG Birmingham supporters of the Revolutionary Communist Group (RCG) fighting austerity, racism and war, building solidarity and fighting for socialism

Humanity faces a profound crisis: a devastating pandemic, soaring poverty, inequality and insecurity, with escalating rivalries between the world’s wealthiest nations, leading to global conflicts and wars. Environmental destruction and climate change already devastate the lives of millions of people and threaten humanity’s extinction. We are in a race against time to prevent this outcome. The only answer is to fight for socialism: a system in which resources are democratically controlled and rationally organised to meet humanity’s needs rather than those of a tiny minority. No capitalist ruling class has ever given up power voluntarily; it will take mass direct action, a revolution led by the working class and its most oppressed layers. The RCG exists as a vehicle to strengthen the revolutionary anti-racist, anti-imperialist trend within the working class in Britain, to fight for open and democratic organising to ensure that all those involved have a say in building the new movement. 4PM 🕓SATURDAY 17TH OCTOBER 📅 Operation Fearless has introduced stop and search, homeless arrests, police brutality and migrant insecurity into Handsworth. So far we've held protests and various events in opposition! Now we need to hear from you!

FIGHT STATE RACISM! 📣LABOUR PARTY, RACIST PARTY!

When we oppose the racist rhetoric of groups like Britain First, we have to expose its roots — the racist British state, currently led by the Labour Party. Labour is fulfilling the needs of capital with its mass deportations and systemic assault on migrants.

This will not change until the system of imperialism is destroyed – no matter which party is in charge. To fight against racism and its poisonous roots, we have to confront the state. 🚩Join us in building this movement. Get organised! Oppose state racism! ✊

💥Ayoub Khan MP uses FAKE STATS to justify Operation Fearless!💥

Ayoub Khan, MP for Perry Barr and Your Party Director, left some posters up for people at the Stop Operation Fearless demo to see, justifying the racist, violent Operation which has already seen police brutality against Black and Asian people, homeless arrests and stop and search. Ayoub Khan proudly brings a police force endemic with sexual abuse against women into communities which are already exploited.

This goes to show how far these MPs will stoop. They are part of bourgeois parties which do not represent the interests of the working class. We have to make this movement ourselves, one which can challenge racism, sexism and ultimately take power! Solidarity with all opposing the Operation! ✊

💥On Saturday we marched through Handsworth against Operation Fearless! Against stop and search! Against immigration enforcement! Against homeless arrests! 💥

We’ve confronted the councillors complicit in Operation Fearless, this time we took it to the architects of the racist Operation in Handsworth: Ayoub Khan MP and the West Midlands Police! Also stopping at the Soho BID offices on the way!

SATURDAY 22 AUGUST💥 MARCH TO AYOUB KHAN’S OFFICE 🚩 STOP OPERATION FEARLESS!

Operation Fearless has flooded Handsworth with racist policing, immigration enforcement, and homeless arrests – a joint effort by West Mids police, Your Party MP Ayoub Khan, local Labour, Green and Independent councillors, and Soho BID.

At the protest in May, and at our weekly speakouts, residents of Handsworth have spoken out about the fear and intimidation the Operation has brought – all the while, health, housing, and social services continue to be cut.

Increased policing only deepens inequality! Yet local government officials continue to support the racist Operation Fearless. NO ONE who is part of the state will handle this for us – we must confront this directly, and fight back!
