My name is Mark Hunter founder of We See U Ltd.
We See U Ltd is a organisation dedicated to supporting the homeless community. The company’s activities aim is to benefit marginalised communities and individuals who have felt lost and disenfranchised for many different reasons, such as substance misuse, mental health issues, and a lack of self-worth.
Our mission is to engage with individuals experiencing homelessness, providing them with compassionate conversations, essential resources, and practical support. We believe in the power of connection and strive to build lasting relationships with those we serve, ensuring they feel seen, heard, and valued. Through various programmes and outreach efforts, we aim to empower individuals on their journey towards stability and an improved quality of life.
We provide clothes, hot beverages, and friendly conversation. I have seen some people treat those experiencing homelessness as if they are invisible; we are here to let them know they are not invisible — and we see them.
We See U was founded by me, Mark Hunter after realising that as human beings, some have so much, while others have very little.
I began years ago by giving away clothes that were no longer needed. I had clothing in my my car boot, for when I went out and l saw someone who was homeless, I would tell them I had no money but that I could offer trainers, hats, jumpers, scarfs, and jackets that they could have. My son's and I would go into the city centre to hand out clothing and also hygiene products.
We are an non for profit organisation who solely depend on funding and donations. Our aspirations is for we See U is to help the unhoused community nation wide.
