We’re excited to see you on Wednesday 2nd September. First-day nerves are completely natural, and your form tutor, Year Leader and pastoral team will be ready to support you.

✏️ Equipment is provided, but pupils may bring their own

🏰 On Thursday 3rd September, pupils will walk to Auckland Castle and explore our local historical attractions. We know they’ll represent Bishop Barrington brilliantly!

🎓 Celebrating the Class of 2026! 🎓

Today, we are incredibly proud to celebrate the hard work, determination and success of our Class of 2026 as they receive their GCSE results.

These results represent much more than grades. They reflect years of commitment, resilience and effort, and we are delighted to see so many of our pupils achieving results that they can be extremely proud of.

A special congratulations goes to our highlighted pupils who have achieved:
🌟Outstanding results across the board
✅ Exceptional progress throughout their time at Bishop Barrington Academy, and
🎉Secured some of the highest grades in individual subject areas.

Every member of the Class of 2026 has their own journey and their own successes to celebrate, and we hope today is an opportunity to look back with pride on everything they have achieved.

A special warm welcome to our new Year 7 students, who join us on Wednesday 2nd September. Doors open from 8:00am, with line up beginning promptly at 8:20am to be ready for the day which begins at 8:30am.

All other year groups return on Thursday 3rd September, with the same arrangements:

As we begin a new academic year, we would like to remind families of the importance of excellent attendance and punctuality. Arriving on time ensures students are ready to learn, do not miss important information at the start of the day, and develop positive habits that support success both in school and beyond.

We ask all students to arrive in good time each morning, fully prepared and ready to make the most of every opportunity.
