Today we were very privileged to be invited to the Durham Youth Awards 2026 run by County Durham Youth Council.
Our Tow Law eco-ambassadors project with Building Self-Belief CIO had been nominated for an award. And we won! 🏆
We are so proud of our pupils for the work they have completed, alongside Blessed John Duckett pupils, to raise awareness of environmental issues.
Thank you to Building Self-Belief CIO for your hard work in organising and running this project for the past 2 years.

The RNLI came in to deliver assemblies to the whole school this morning on water safety. This is such an important message before the summer holidays:
1. Stop and think.
2. Stay together.
3. Float.
4. Call 999.

All pupils have brought home a pupil profile today with their end of year data on.

In addition, parents/carers of pupils in Reception, Year 1, Year 4 and Year 6 will have received an email this week through Arbor with statutory assessment results. Please check your junk mailbox if you have not received this.

Weekly update 15th July:

1. Wednesday 15th July- class parties all day. Pupils can wear non uniform.

2. Wednesday 15th July- Class 2 and 3 remaining SEN parents’ evening appointments. Please contact the office if you are unsure of your appointment time.

3. Thursday 16th July- Celebrations trophy assembly at 1.30pm. All are welcome to attend our end of year celebration.

4. Thursday 16th July - Transition meeting for new reception parents in the hall at 8.45am.

5. Friday 17th July - Last day of year for pupils. Non uniform day for all pupils.
