The 2026 Chew Valley 10k is done.
The 14th event was brought to you with the generous support of Winford Road Garages and Brock & Houlford Expert Eyecare - our joint main sponsors - we appreciate their support in making this event possible, and roles this morning in helping lead the race out and welcoming runners back.

Thank you for the enormous team of volunteers. The many many marshals with their magical boxes, the car park marshals, the army of teenagers, Will Mellersh and the barrier crew, John Robbins our Start and Finish Director, Ivor and his sound system, and to Mike of The Wine Rooms - Chew Magna for returning to the MC duties.
Thank you to the people of Bishop Sutton for donating us the village this morning.
Thank you to the geological processes over hundreds of millions of years that created COLEY HILL.
Thank you to Rufus, student at Chew Valley School, for designing our race t-shirt and medal. Take a bow - you deserve it.
Thank you to everyone we’ve forgotten to mention.
And finally…
Thank you to all of our runners; those from today and those from 2013, and all those in between. It’s lovely to walk around Race HQ in the morning, then running the 10k and seeing so many familiar faces.

This event is organised by a small team of volunteers. We have done it for the love of raising all those funds for our beneficiaries over the years - specifically this year for Chew Valley School, Bishop Sutton Primary School, Dorothy House and NiCU Support.
Also for the love of encouraging all of those people who never thought they would ever run a 10k and now have - we know there are so many.
We as a committee are signing off - it’s been fun. We hope the CV10k baton will be taken up by others - maybe not immediately, but at some point in the future.
…and when they do we will be first to sign-up - after Matthew and Andre.
