This session was also delivered by Alan last week to our wonder foster carers! It covered everything from social media and online gaming to cyberbullying, exploitation and privacy.

The session also explored practical ways to have positive conversations with children and young people about their online lives.

Training doesn’t stop once you’re approved. Our foster carers have ongoing opportunities to build their knowledge, develop their skills and feel confident supporting children and young people.

We're delighted to see our Foster with us team introducing VR into the Prepare to Foster training, giving prospective foster carers an even greater understanding of the experiences of children in care.

A huge thank you to Christine, who recently went the extra mile by providing a dedicated 1:1 VR session for our applicants, helping to boost their knowledge and confidence before attending panel.

It's all part of the support we offer to ensure prospective foster carers feel as prepared as possible for every stage of their fostering journey.
