At Blackburn with Darwen, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, supported, accepted, and valued for exactly who they are🌈

We are proud to welcome foster carers from the LGBTQ+ community and know that diverse carers help us better reflect and support the children and young people who need us most.

Right now, we need more foster carers from all walks of life, including LGBTQ+ individuals and couples, to help provide loving, stable homes for local children.

Our foster carers receive a wide range of training and support throughout their fostering journey, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to make a positive difference in the lives of local children and young people.
