Deputy Youth MP’s Ali Shah and Arianna Sultana attended the councils Executive Board yesterday evening to update the board on the campaigns they are undertaking with the authoring our stories heritage and culture project, their current youth inspections within the family hubs and their next youth inspection within the NHS Paediatrics service

Congratulations to former BwD Youth MP Zainab Shah who got 3x A’s in her A-levels. Zainab is looking forward to starting university in September to study English literature. We are all very proud of you! ☺️🙌🏽

Young people from the BwD Youth Forum, SEND Inclusion project and VOICE forum had a great day at Manchester runway on their HAF holiday scheme. Young people got to experience the Concorde, a 1980’s monarch, and experience being a pilot in the flight deck and watch planes take off and land.

What an amazing weekend residential at Water Park on lake coniston. Young people from the SEND Inclusion project, BwD Youth Forum and VOICE groups have made memories for life, overcome fears and developed their independence skills.

The YPS SEND Inclusion project teamed up with IMO and Youthzone for a joint SEND delivery session at Darwen Youthzone. Young people had the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities such as football, sensory games and arts and crafts
