We did it!! β™₯οΈπŸ’•πŸŽ‰πŸ“

We are delighted to announce that the grand fundraising total handed over to "Helping Hearts" today was a staggering Β£1121.84 - the most we have ever raised!

A massive "Thank you" to all those that donated and contributed to our fundraising activities - we could not have done it without your support.

A special "Thank you & Well done" to two of our students who raised the most money towards our final total;

πŸ’· Lilly
Lilly (pictured) raised an outstanding Β£412.84, using her initiative and surrounding support from work colleagues, family and friends to collect this all time huge amount. Due to her efforts, we have created the "Lilly Grace Charity Fundraising Award" for future students to try best for outstanding fundraising efforts.

πŸ’· Harrison
Harrison raised an outstanding Β£200 online, again, using his initiative to get his family and friends to support him using our Just Giving page to raise the amount he managed to achieve.

Lastly, a massive "Thank you" to all the staff at Helping Hearts. You were all fantastic throughout and fully supported us to raise our final total. We hope the funds we raised help to support those in need in Blackpool, Flyde and the Wyre.

Well done to all our students!

Armed Forces Day 2026 πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸͺ–πŸŽ–οΈπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§βœ¨

This morning, our Uniformed Protective Service (UPS) students stood proudly alongside serving Armed Forces personnel, veterans and cadet groups at the annual Armed Forces Day event in Blackpool town centre.

Armed Forces Day takes place each June, offering a vital opportunity for the community to show support and gratitude for the men and women of the Armed Forces. It is a time to honor those who serve today, as well as remember those who have risked their lives past and present to protect our country and our freedom that we all have today.

Seeing our UPS students display such incredible discipline, respect and dedication alongside active service members was an absolute honor to observe. They represented themselves, their families and our college with the utmost pride and respect.

It was also fantastic to see many of our current and former students representing their respective cadet groups in full uniform across Blackpool, Fleetwood, and Wyre.

A special mention goes to our UPS Staff members: Matthew, Adam, Mark, Sherell and Jason who proudly wore their medals of honor today from their own time in service with their respective Armed Forces.

To all Armed Forces personnelβ€”past, present and those no longer with usβ€” "Thank you for your hard work, service, and commitment to this country!"

Thank you also to the UPS students who volunteered their time to represent the college at this remarkable event today - the future of our protective services in the UK is looking incredibly bright with such dedicated students! Your Family and loved ones should be extremely proud of you all πŸŽ–οΈπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΌ
