Today we have been to central library for the hungry caterpillar event. We all sat beautifully for the story and joined in the activities, we specially enjoyed the mini beast hunt. 🕷️ 🐞 🐛 🐜
To finish our busy day off, we enjoyed some tomato soup with our home grown basil 🥣 🌿 🥰

Today we have been measuring how tall our plants have grown. We all helped water the plants and we loved smelling them. We got a little bit wet watering the plants and this turned into so great puddle jumping fun! ☔️ We helped pick the leaves from the Basil plant and washed them. We put some in with our dinner to make it taste even better! 🍝 🍕 🥗 🥰
Using our senses to feel, smell, taste and look at the beautiful plants we have grown, showing pride in our achievements and adding it to our healthy meals. 🥰

How does your garden grow?
We have loved watching our flowers, peas, green beans and tomato plants grow, and we really love watering them! Some of our plants have grown taller than us! 🌱 🪴 🌺 Today we have measured our plants and ourselves! We have been watering the plants and ourselves 🤣 and we have been painting pictures of flowers to take home for our family 🥰

Spring is in the air! The children have had a great time planting their seeds and taking care of the plants and measuring our sun flowers 🌺 We have been out and about to gardens and to find flowers on our walks, talking about their smells and colours. We have been out to see farm animals and the chickens were a favourite! 🐥 🐓 We talked about the eggs that chickens lay and we talked about all the different sounds that all the farm animals make 🥰 🦙 🐴 🐥 🥰

We have had a busy week preparing for the Easter Bunny! We have joined in making and decorating Easter bags to collect our eggs in. We have made some beautiful Easter pictures to take home for our family. We have joined in singing the Peter rabbit song and the sleeping bunny song. We enjoyed lots of Easter books looking for eggs with the bunnies. 🐰 🐣 🥰

We have been preparing for spring! We have enjoyed the story Lizzy the Lamb and talking about baby farm animals. We have been planting sunflower seeds to take home to grow into beautiful flowers. We loved scooping the soil and counting the seeds into the plant pots and watering them. We have talked about what flowers need to help them grow. We have been out for a walk to see some real flowers, we saw lots of different colours and smelled the beautiful flowers 🌷 🌱🥰

Happy Mothers Day!
This week we have enjoyed joining in lots of Mothers Day crafts. We have made lots of cards, painting our hands to make flower prints and using daffodil stickers to make beautiful cards. We have painted photo frames with special photos of ourselves in them. We have been out for a walk to the florist to choose beautiful flowers for our mummy’s and we had a little help from Willow’s Treasures and have a personalised present for our mummy’s too! 🎁 🌷
We have loved making all these special presents for our mummy’s this week.
Happy Mothers Day to the most beautiful and special Mummy’s in our lives!

We have joined in celebrating world book day! We have enjoyed Peppa pigs story about going for a picnic -nic and enjoyed joining in going for a pic-nic with our own friends. We have joined in a book at bed time, we all dressed in our pyjamas and enjoyed hot chocolate, marshmallows and a biscuit together. We have enjoyed lots of stories and love Harry and his bucket full of dinosaurs 🦕.
We have dressed up as our favourite book character and had a visit from a beautiful Gruffalo, A tiger who came for tea, Bluey and lightening McQueen 🥰
Thank you to National Literacy Trust in Blackpool for our special books that you gifted to us! We have shared with maxines mindees, Joanne, Lynn, Debbie’s ducklings and Emma’s childminding services.
