As thousands of people enjoy the Blackpool Illuminations Switch On, Project Servator officers are out and about across the town, including at transport hubs and key event locations.
Working closely with event security and partner agencies, officers are conducting a range of overt and covert activities designed to help prevent and disrupt criminality.
Today's deployment includes specialist resources such as facial recognition, armed response, drone capabilities and neighbourhood policing teams.
