🌸 Supporting Local This British Flower Week 🌸

Our fellow friend and farmer at Flora & Fauna - Springfield Farm, Joanna, is celebrating British Flower Week by opening up her absolutely stunning flower patch in Moss Side, nestled between Lytham St Annes and Wrea Green.

She has worked incredibly hard to create such a beautiful space, and her bouquets are truly breathtaking. 💐

🎓 Did you know we do Graduation Parties too at Ridgeway Farm? 🎓

We know many of you already know that we host fantastic Birthday Parties here at Ridgeway Farm… but did you know we can also help celebrate those BIG little milestones too?

Our Graduation Parties are the perfect way for children to celebrate finishing Preschool, Nursery or Kindergarten before heading off on their exciting next adventure — Big School! 🎒✏️

🌟 Big Shout Out to Archway Travel! 🌟

Today, Archway Travel were our absolute knights in shining armour! 👏

When 35 children were unexpectedly stranded on Peel Road, Archway Travel stepped in at the last minute, saved the day, and kindly made sure everyone arrived safely at Ridgeway Farm. 🚍🐮

The children went on to have a fantastic time feeding the animals, cuddling the rabbits and guinea pigs, playing Guess Who Laid the Egg? 🥚 and, to top it all off, picking their very own fresh strawberries… yum! 🍓

A huge thank you to Archway Travel for going above and beyond today — your kindness and quick thinking made sure a special day wasn’t missed.

Each week we will:

It really is a fabulous term on the farm and a great way to spend a few hours with your mini farmer!

🌻🐮 Thank You for a Fantastic Half Term! 🐰🚜

A huge thank you to everyone who visited us at Ridgeway Farm this half term. We’ve loved welcoming so many families to the farm and seeing lots of happy faces enjoying the animals, bee hunt, sand pit, bale mountain and all the other farm fun! ❤️

We are now taking a little break from our regular opening days while we get busy behind the scenes preparing for an exciting summer ahead.

Over the next few weeks we'll be: 🎃 Planting our pumpkins
🍓 Preparing for strawberry picking
🌽 Growing our giant maize maze
🌻 Creating our sunflower and wildflower patch
🐮 Looking after all our friendly farm animals

Don't worry though — we're still open for:

🌿 Nature is full of surprises at Ridgeway Farm! 🐛

Look what we spotted hiding amongst the leaves today... a beautiful group of caterpillars busy enjoying the sunshine and preparing for their next big adventure. 🦋

There’s always something new to discover when you slow down and take a closer look around the farm. From friendly animals to fascinating mini beasts, every visit is an opportunity to explore, learn and connect with nature.

To hear that 4 generations of one family all enjoyed a day together on the farm is exactly why we do what we do. From great-grandparents right through to grandchildren, we love creating a relaxed, friendly place where families can slow down, make memories, and enjoy the countryside together. ❤️

A huge thank you to Dawn and her family for your lovely words and for choosing to spend your Bank Holiday with us. Knowing that visitors appreciate the care we put into our animals, farm, and visitor experience truly makes all the hard work worthwhile. 🐑🐐🐇🦉
