Huge thanks to Chris Webb MP for visiting us and taking the time to see first hand the impact being made across the town.

From cutting energy bills to supporting over 1,000 households, the hub is helping residents take control of their homes with free, independent advice thanks to support from Blackpool Council and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF)

This is what community led, practical change looks like.

See link in comments for more details about us and the recent visit from Chris Webb MP. 👇

💧 Water Saving Week: Protect Water for Wildlife

We’re proud to support Waterwise and their Water Saving Week campaign.

Water saving week 2026 runs Monday 4th May to Friday 8th May.

At Palatine Library, our rain gardens capture and filter rainwater from the roof, reducing pressure on drains and lowering flood risk.

They also help keep pollutants out of local waterways, protecting the wildlife that depends on them.

🌱 Simple ideas like this can be used at home too.
