Tullibardine Restaurant closure – Friday 4th September

Please note that the Tullibardine Restaurant will be closed this Friday, 4th September, due to a private event.

The Cannon, our outdoor food cabin, will remain open and serving hot and cold drinks alongside sweet and savoury home-baked goods.

Please note that The Cannon accepts card only. Cash payments are not accepted.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. We look forward to welcoming visitors to the restaurant throughout the week and again over the weekend, when our new Sunday lunch will also be available.

Calling all period drama fans 🎬

With Bridgerton having been nominated for an NTA, there’s never been a better time to step into the world of costume drama at Blair Castle.

Our current exhibition brings together costumes from much-loved productions alongside garments worn by members of the Murray family throughout the centuries.

Discover how the fashions of those who really lived at Blair Castle compare with costumes from Downton Abbey, Emma, Victoria, The Duchess and Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, revealing fascinating links between historical dress and the period dramas we love today.

The exhibition, included with a castle ticket, runs through to 30th October 2026.

Upcoming event: Autumn Foraging at Blair Castle 🍂

As autumn arrives in the Highlands, the grounds of Blair Castle & Gardens reveal a rich abundance of wild treasures.

Join our expert for a guided walk through woodland, meadow, hedgerow and garden. You'll learn to safely identify 20+ edible and medicinal autumn plants, fungi and trees, discovering their traditional uses, seasonal recipes and simple ways to bring the wild into your kitchen 🧺🍄

The walk concludes in the peaceful surrounds of Hercules Garden with wild tea, homemade cake and biscuits.

Join us for Sunday lunch at Blair Castle 🍴 Come for a stroll through the gardens then settle in for a hearty lunch.

This summer, we’ve introduced Sunday lunches in the Tullibardine Restaurant. Depending on the week you might find roast sirloin of beef, haunch of venison or porchetta on the menu, with a vegetarian option always available. The meat is sourced from our local butcher Fair Feast (or from the estate when available) and is served with traditional trimmings. Finish your meal with a delicious seasonal pudding.

One course £22.50 | Two courses £30

All visitors, including Gardens & Grounds ticket holders, can enjoy access to the restaurant and gift shop.

We were delighted to see Blair Castle featured in The Herald over the weekend.

Their journalist's family holiday in one of our Woodland Lodges brought together so much of what makes our estate special.

Last weekend, members of the Atholl Estates team joined our Charity of the Year, Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance - SCAA, for Run the Runway at Perth Airport.

Among the runners was our very own Maverick, complete with boiler suit and helmet - a fitting addition to the runway 🚁

SCAA provides a vital emergency service across Scotland, responding to life-threatening accidents and medical emergencies from bases in Perth and Aberdeen.

We're proud to be supporting SCAA throughout 2026, and grateful to everyone who has helped us raise funds so far.

Public notice | 15th-24th July 2026 | The current "very high" wildfire danger assessment has been extended and will stay in force until this Friday.

In line with the Cairngorms National Park Fire Management Bylaw, it is an offence to light a fire in the National Park from 1st April to 30th September. Across the whole estate, we ask guests and visitors to be extra vigilant during this period and not to: drop ci******es, or light campfires or barbecues.

Thank you for your cooperation in protecting our landscape and each other.

The summer holidays are the perfect time to discover Blair Castle and enjoy the beauty of Highland Perthshire.
