⛳Fore! A Great Day for a Great Cause ⛳

The crew from Blairgowrie recently took part in The Sandpiper Trust Charity Golf Day!

The event also provided the perfect opportunity to hand over a cheque for £500, raised during our charity car wash on 31st May🚗🧽

Thankfully, Paul, Harry, Craig and Alan are better at fundraising than they are playing Golf! ⛳😂

We recently had the pleasure of visiting the children at Cornerstones Nursery and Newhill Primary School to talk about fire safety and introduce them to some of the equipment we use as firefighters 🚒🔥

It was extra exciting some of the children as they got the chance to see their dads at work! 👏🏼😀

🚒👏 Well done to all of the students from Blairgowrie High School who recently completed our three-week Young Firefighters course!
Throughout the programme, they took part in a range of practical activities while developing teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills.
A big thank you to the students, school staff and firefighters who helped make the course a success 🚒

🚒❤️ FUNDRAISING ROUND-UP ❤️🚒

Over the last six months, the crew at Blairgowrie Fire Station have been busy raising money for some fantastic causes, and we're delighted to share the results with you!

🎅 Santa Drive Through - £700 raised for the Fire Fighters Charity

🏃‍♂️ WC Frankie Shepherd's London Marathon - £3,568 raised for The Fire Fighters Charity

🧽 Charity Car Wash - £1,000 raised, split equally between The Fire Fighters Charity and The Sandpiper Trust

That brings our total fundraising over the last six months to an incredible £5,268!

None of this would have been possible without the generosity of our local community. Whether you donated, sponsored, attended an event, shared a post, or cheered us on from the sidelines, thank you for your continued support🥰

We're proud to serve such a fantastic community, and we're grateful for every contribution that helps these amazing charities continue their vital work❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported our Charity Car Wash in aid of the Fire Fighters Charity and The Sandpiper Trust this weekend. Whether you brought your car along, made a donation, shared our posts, or simply stopped by to say hello, we really appreciate your support 😍

Over the last six months, there has been a huge amount of fundraising taking place across the station, and soon we'll be sharing some of our fundraising totals and celebrating the difference your generosity has made 🎊

Our Charity Car Wash on Saturday 30th May will be raising money for TWO fantastic charities! ❤️

All proceeds from the day will be split between the Fire Fighters Charity & The Sandpiper Trust

The Sandpiper Trust provides life-saving equipment and support to emergency responders and rural healthcare teams across Scotland. Their funding helps deliver vital medical equipment directly to communities, helping improve patient care and outcomes when every second counts.

Alongside this, The Fire Fighters Charity continues to provide lifelong support to serving and retired firefighters and their families across the UK.

Come along between 10am–3pm, get your car cleaned, and help support two incredible causes making a real difference locally and nationally 🚒🧽✨

🚒 People Who Help Us🚒

Last week we had a fantastic visit to Newhill Primary School to talk about ‘People Who Help Us’. The pupils asked some brilliant questions and loved getting a closer look at the fire engine!

It was an extra special visit for Ava, who got to see her Grandad in action, and Amelia, who was excited to see her Dad at work!! 🧑🏼‍🚒❤️‍🔥
