August at Bloxwich Launchpad 📊✨

Schools may have been out for summer, but Bloxwich Launchpad stayed busy! 💪

Here’s a look back at what our community achieved throughout August:

👥 400+ visits to Bloxwich Launchpad
🙌 179 individuals supported with digital skills, business help and career development
📱 14 entrepreneurs took part in social media workshops, receiving over 70 hours of support
💼 37 businesses used our air-conditioned incubation space for over 250 hours
📸 We introduced new creative skills with a Camera Skills workshop delivered by Open Lens Media
💻 We hosted a Digital Skills Information Day, showcasing opportunities including Walsall College’s new Bitesize Learning courses.

And we're not slowing down! 🚀

September is already looking busy, with more courses, workshops and support available for our community — including our Bloxwich Launchpad 1st Birthday celebration on 9 September and the Introduction to Podcasting workshop (delivered by Open Lens Media) on 25 September.

Due to flooding following the heavy rain, Bloxwich Launchpad is currently closed.

🩺 FREE NHS Health Checks at Bloxwich Launchpad this Saturday

When was the last time you had an NHS Health Check?

This Saturday 22 August, Be Well Walsall will be at Bloxwich Launchpad offering FREE NHS Health Checks for eligible adults aged 40 to 74.

📅 Saturday 22 August
⏰ 10:00am to 1:00pm
📍 Bloxwich Launchpad

The check takes around 20 to 30 minutes and can include:

❤️ Blood pressure and cholesterol
⚖️ Height, weight and BMI
💬 A conversation about your lifestyle and overall health

You may be eligible if you're aged 40 to 74 and haven't had an NHS Health Check in the last five years. Eligibility criteria apply.
