In my first statement before being elected I said I was passionate about improving access for disabled, the active travel scheme is not just about cyclists it is also for wheelchair users, pushchairs etc to be able to move freely from their homes, the stations into the town centre. Not having to worry about curbs or crossing roads. Have your say and complete the survey. Come to the walk in sessions on

Some of the local changes are bebside to Blyth,chase Farm, cowpen, blyth town and newsham.

TONIGHT from 5pm - We are showing our Vision for a centrally based Blyth Town Council and Civic Hub, please come along and give us feedback. We are giving out good Citizens awards to nominated individuals that have made a real difference to our Town. All members of the public are welcome to join us. For those that have not met their Town Councillors this is the perfect opportunity!

*Save the Date*

The Annual Town Meeting will take place at 18:00 on 28 May at Market Pavilion . The Annual meeting is not a meeting of the Town Council although it is hosted by the Chairman and Mayor of the Town Council.

Doors will open at 17:00 and there will be various community groups with stalls showcasing their work and achievements.

The meeting will commence at 18:00 with the presentation of Civic Awards and then followed by public questions.

Teas and coffees will be provided.

The plans were approved despite concerns over whether it will actually alleviate the town's congestion issues
