Ex Forces Northeast Support Group Welcome to the Ex-Forces Northeast Support Group. The Group provides Online Posting, Monthly Meeting Event and Links to support services. The Group provides:

Providing a platform for Ex Forces from all branches of the Military in the Northeast area to connect or reconnect. This group provides a platform for Ex Forces members in the Northeast area to connect or reconnect. It is open to all branches for the military and all ages. I served with the Fusiliers for over 10 years and since leaving I have experienced mental health issues and including loneline

ss and social interaction limitations. Recently I have been finding more and more people in my area are in the same situation. With lots of Ex-Forces members living local to each other I feel this could be a platform to help tackle the mental and social problems we all must deal with. The Group will Accept Members from the Northeast of England only with a view to Creating groups in other parts of the UK once this group is developed. a platform for social interaction Monthly Meeting Event where members can meet up for a pint and a catch up Links to services and other support groups

I have added a link to a Man only support charity called Andysmanclub
I go to the blyth group which is on on a Monday from 7pm to 9pm
This is the ideal place to both socialise and make friends and also talk about your problems in a none judgmental supportive environment.

This group has really helped me over the last few years and I encourage everyone to consider this if life feels heavy or you just want to vent.

The world can feel like such a lonely place but sometimes you find someone just around the corner is wanting the same as you, the common ground of being in the Armed forces makes it so easy to make friends with people as so much to relate to but the distance and isolation of life can make it feel impossible.
