All abilities welcome from a complete beginner to a competent / competitive swimmer looking to develop their technique. Sean's Swim School is based at Claremont Senior School Bodiam and is fully inclusive and a well established business aiming to provide an excellent swimming programme within a safe and secure teaching and learning environment. Sean's Swim School prides itself on high standards an
d employs both ASA and STA qualified staff, all of whom hold CRB Enhanced Disclosures. The staff aim to challenge, encourage and motivate children to enjoy water and achieve their full swimming potential. Above all, they aim to show children that learning to swim at Sean’s Swim School can be fun and rewarding and hope when they leave the school they will have happy and pleasant memories of Sean's Swim School. The shallow learner pool is an ideal starting point for the younger children who eventually progress into the 20metre training pool. The training pool’s six lanes are perfect for the development of confident, competent and competitive swimmers. The aim is to have no more than 8 pupils per class; ensuring that the teachers are able to give each pupil the individual attention they deserve. The Swim school is registered with the ASA and the lessons are designed to run in accordance with the ASA National plan for teaching swimming. Sean's Swim School is also proudly sponsored by Southern Water and provides their ‘Learn to swim’ scheme; teaching children who are complete beginners through to an advanced level, after which they are able to be considered for entry into a swimming club or continue on the Rookie lifeguard courses. The swimming lessons are suitable for parents living in and around the Hastings and Rother boroughs, and from neighboring East Sussex areas: Bexhill-On-Sea, Battle, St Leonard's-On-Sea, Hastings, Westfield, Rye, Guestling and Udimore. The teachers at Sean's Swim School are the main assets. Many of the staff have been with the swim school for many years and have seen whole families go through the swim school system. Strong relationships are formed, giving a feeling of trust and loyalty between teacher and pupil. The teachers are ASA qualified and are highly experienced in working with children of all abilities and characters. They regularly update their qualifications. Sean's Swim School has a rapidly expanding pupil membership, attending progressive structured lessons each week during term time only. The progress of all pupils is continually assessed by the teacher. If the teacher feels that they are ready to move a child up a group then they will be moved straight away.
