Good news - this e-scooter was seized today in Bodmin having been seen being ridden at speed through FORE STREET. We have received multiple reports of this scooter being ridden in an anti-social manner and this is despite previous advice having been given to its owner.

Remember:
• E-scooters are illegal to ride on a public roads/pavements.
• They can only be used legally on private land, with the landowner's permission.
• Parents could be liable to prosecution if their children are found to be breaking the law.
• Officers have the power to seize e-scooters being ridden illegally.
• They are classed as motor vehicles under the Road Traffic Act 1988. This means that rules that apply to motor vehicles, also apply to e-scooters including the need to have a licence, insurance and tax.

Tempting as it may be to save money, using fake online pharmacies puts you at risk of serious harm – check that any pharmacy you use is legitimate at the link at the end of this post.

Fake online pharmacies can dispense medicines that are inappropriate, ineffectively dosed, or even counterfeit. These counterfeit medicines can include seriously dangerous substances such as cement and even arsenic.

It's vitally important to make sure that any pharmacy you use is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.

How to check an online pharmacy:
1. Find the pharmacy's GPhC registration number on its website.
2. Search for the pharmacy on the official GPhC register.
3. If the pharmacy is not listed, do NOT use it.

Spiking | Report it

Confirmed cases of spiking are rare in Devon and Cornwall, nevertheless Devon & Cornwall Police has a dedicated online reporting form available from the Report button on the front page of our website, and if you think you or anyone else has been spiked we want to hear from you: https://orlo.uk/TvNSA

You can report to us no matter when it happened. There is no time limit on reporting spiking; whether it just happened or it happened a while ago, you can tell us about it. You can report on behalf of some else too.

This service will help you report spiking offences including drink spiking, needle spiking, food spiking, v**e or e-cigarette spiking. This includes people putting extra alcohol in your drink without you knowing – it’s still spiking and is very dangerous, and is treated just as seriously as any other form of spiking.
