By helping keep Cardinham Woods litter‑free, who are you protecting?
It’s not just the trees and wildflowers that suffer when litter is left behind, it’s every creature that calls this woodland home.
A dropped crisp packet might not seem like much, but to a hedgehog snuffling for food, it can be dangerous.
A bit of plastic tangled in the undergrowth can trap a fox cub. Even the tiniest scraps can harm our songbirds, who may accidentally ingest them while foraging. And for our ever‑curious squirrels, litter can be a serious hazard.
💚 By taking your rubbish home, you’re helping protect the Forest’s most vulnerable residents. Thank you.
