The Headland Hotel has an unusual job advertised - they're looking for a resident witch! The successful applicant will be flying around the castle and keeping visitors company during spooky season.

Veryan Palmer told us many visit in October because of the building's association with the 1990 film The Witches.

The weather is looking dry for later this afternoon and through this evening so don't miss our last summer event this evening with Sword in the Stone, set in our beautiful Italian Garden. Fun for all the family!

Gates open at 5.00pm and the performance starts at 6.00pm

Well what a month of entertainment here at Pencarrow it's been!!

And it's not over yet!! We have one more event this summer and you don't want to miss it. Tomorrow evening (Tuesday 25th) we have Sword in the Stone, entertaining all the family in beautiful surroundings.
