We want to treat women as whole addressing

all the social harms they face rather than focusing on single issues, and building on their strengths and capabilities. We want to improve the services locally for women, reduce the lack of power experienced by women who are facing severe and multiple disadvantages and reduce inequalities, discrimination and exclusion.

Fear lives behind closed doors,

Be the key to unlock it

Every day at My Sisters’ House Women’s Centre, we meet women who have survived experiences no one should ever have to endure. Abuse rarely begins with violence. It often starts quietly - small put downs, controlling behaviour, a gradual erosion of confidence. Over time, fear replaces certainty, and isolation becomes normal.

By the time many women reach our door, they feel frightened, alone, and unsure how they can keep themselves safe.

In 2025, we supported 1,880 clients and the need for our services continues to grow.

That’s why your support matters.

In 2025, we supported 1,880 clients - a 5% increase from 2024 - and the need for our services continues to grow.

Every ticket you buy helps ensure that when a woman reaches her breaking point, someone is there:

• to listen

• to believe her

• to help her take the next step towards safety

Your support helps us keep our doors open.

It helps a woman find safety. It helps unlock the door to a new beginning.

Here are a few of the prizes you could win:

Goodwood Revival Tickets
A Clothkits Workshop
Cinema tickets and lots more!

We’re delighted to share that My Sisters’ House Women’s Centre has achieved SafeLives Leading Lights accreditation.

For us, Leading Lights represents far more than a quality mark. It is meaningful recognition of the way we work and the values that shape our services every day. The accreditation reflects not only strong and effective processes, but also the survivor-led, trauma-informed culture we have intentionally built—one rooted in dignity, respect and safety.

Achieving this accreditation reassures us that our First Response and Domestic Abuse services meet nationally recognised standards while continuing to respond to the needs of women in our local community. It is also a significant achievement for our team, recognising their expertise, compassion and unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality support, often in challenging circumstances.

We’re looking forward to welcoming local professionals to our Chichester Hub on Wednesday 17th June for our refreshed Professionals’ Afternoon.

This session will introduce a new, more interactive format, including Domestic Abuse Awareness and Safe Conversations training, alongside an overview of My Sisters’ House services, eligibility, and how we can work together to better support our shared clients.

The session will run from 2pm–4pm, with plenty of opportunity for discussion, questions, and meaningful networking.

Our aim is to create an engaging and informative afternoon that strengthens partnerships and enhances the support we provide across our community.

If you’d like to attend or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

It’s really encouraging to see the news about Brighton & Hove Albion Women moving to a dedicated stadium. Developments like this feel like a genuine step forward for women’s sport — bringing greater visibility, investment and the recognition the game has long deserved.

Even for those who aren’t football fans, this feels like a positive and uplifting milestone. Progress like this reminds us how important representation, opportunity and equity are — not just in sport, but across every area of life.

National leaders welcoming Brighton’s women’s stadium plans as a landmark moment for the game shows just how significant this step could be for the future of women’s football and the generations coming through behind it.
