We want to treat women as whole addressing

all the social harms they face rather than focusing on single issues, and building on their strengths and capabilities. It’s really encouraging to see the news about Brighton & Hove Albion Women moving to a dedicated stadium. Developments like this feel like a genuine step forward for women’s sport — bringing greater visibility, investment and the recognition the game has long deserved.

Even for those who aren’t football fans, this feels like a positive and uplifting milestone. Progress like this reminds us how important representation, opportunity and equity are — not just in sport, but across every area of life.

National leaders welcoming Brighton’s women’s stadium plans as a landmark moment for the game shows just how significant this step could be for the future of women’s football and the generations coming through behind it.

Bognor Prom 10k

A huge congratulations and heartfelt thank you to our incredible team of 34 runners who took part in the Bognor Prom 10k in support of My Sisters’ House Women’s Centre. Together, this amazing group has raised vital funds that will help us continue supporting women across our community.

With fantastic encouragement and training support from Elaine Hart of Power Is Bananas, runners prepared both together and individually in the lead-up to the event, showing dedication, determination and brilliant team spirit every step of the way.

The weather was far kinder than expected, with sunshine and clear skies creating the perfect backdrop for the day. The fast, flat and scenic route along the Bognor Regis and Felpham seafront created an incredible atmosphere for runners and supporters alike.

Whether participants were chasing a personal best, running their very first 10k, or simply taking on the challenge for our cause, every single runner should feel immensely proud of their achievement.

There is still time to donate, if you would like to support us please visit:

Building Strength and Boundaries

People who have experienced controlling relationships are often taught to make themselves smaller to keep the peace, avoid conflict, or put others first.
Our group creates space to begin changing that.

Together, we explore:
• Setting and maintaining boundaries
• Protecting your wellbeing and your child
• Navigating child contact and legal considerations
• Understanding your rights and safeguarding options

You set the pace. You choose what feels right. We’re here to support you in feeling more confident and informed.

If you’re wondering whether this group is right for you, you’re welcome to reach out for more information.
