CAUTION: Escaped animal spotted at Bolsover Castle. 🚨

We're asking all our visitors to keep an eye out for the below individual. He's known to have links to Bolsover, frequenting the town particularly when the nights start to draw in.

We're expecting suspicious activity to increase over the next couple of months, peaking on Saturday 28th November so keep an eye out for any other strange individuals.

Calling all teachers! We're testing new learning activities at Bolsover Castle in November. 👨🏼‍🏫

Get in touch with [email protected] to find out more and book your free place. Some travel bursaries are also available.

🍎Activities for KS1-2 students include role play, dressing up and hands-on activities to explore the sights, sounds and smells of a 17th-century celebration.

🍎Activities for KS2-3 students include stepping into the world of Margaret Cavendish to discover her science fiction writing, ideas about the natural world and getting hands on with objects, microscopes and an experiment of the kind she saw at the Royal Society.
