Legendary Joust- Weather Forecast ☔

The forecast for the first day of our Legendary Joust tomorrow looks a little wet so please come prepared with waterproofs and umbrellas. Our jousters aren't put off by a little rain and will joust unless conditions underfoot become unsafe.

There's lots more to enjoy aside from the Joust including a living history encampment, jester shows and medieval music.

Thank you to everyone who came to our Members exclusive Paint and Sip night! 🎨

This event was delivered by our Mind Lab partners Junction Arts. Members painted over antique paintings, creating new worlds inspired by Margaret Cavendish and her novel The Blazing World.

🐎 It's one last hurrah for the horses this year! 🐎

On Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August, we welcome Cavendish's Horses: From Manege to Dressage at Bolsover Castle. With their elegant Spanish horses, the Atkinson Action Horses will amaze you with a demonstration of skilled horsemanship displaying the movements of the 17th century that are still relevant today. 🎊
