Great Lever is set to receive an exciting new community shop this September.

At a meeting of Bolton Council, Reform Clllrs argued AGAINST and voted AGAINST a Labour motion supporting the unrestricted free bus travel for pensioners and disabled people as well as the £2 capped fare.

The clean up on this site has been great to see too. Finally see the capacity.ofnthe Lodge and pathways makes you see this sites potential.

It's great to see progress being made on the clean-up of Bradford Road Lodge. We know many residents have been frustrated by the condition of the site over recent years, so it's encouraging to see work now taking place to clear and improve the area.

We hope this is the first step towards bringing the site back up to a good standard and ultimately back into use for the community. There has already been interest from local angling groups who would like to make use of the lodge, and we look forward to working with partners and local residents to help unlock its potential for future generations.
