Please note that all other libraries and Cafe Crescent will be closed on Monday, but will reopen on Tuesday 1 September.

Planning a visit this weekend?

Please note that Cafe Crescent at Central Library will be closed on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

The good news is that the Bolton Food and Drink Festival is taking place right outside, offering a fantastic range of food and drink stalls to explore. 🍽️

📚 Central Library 🏛️ Bolton Museum 🐠 Bolton Aquarium will all be open as normal, with Bank Holiday Monday opening hours of 10am to 4pm.

Summer Reading Challenge is here across all Bolton Libraries!📚️🎶

Sign up for free for this years 'Read to the Beat' themed Summer Reading Challenge at any library!

This year, children set their own reading goals over the summer and collect stickers as they go.

Anyone who completes the challenge before Sunday 13th September will receive a special medal and certificate to celebrate their achievement and entered in prize draws to win some incredible prizes; Lego bundle, Jellycat bundle and Ukulele set.

There is still time to sign up today or completed your challenge today, pop down to your local library!
