Last week we had the pleasure of attending a World Mental Health Day event at Bolton Town Hall.
Some amazing well-being services from the area were there and several local schools attended.
At our stall we asked young people for examples of what causes conflict in their home, how they handle it and what they could potentially do differently. We were very impressed with lots of the discussions!

🌟 Supporting Families and Young People in Bolton -Time 2 Talk Mediation 🌟 Bolton Mediation

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting Kate Windle and Michelle Healey from Time 2 Talk Mediation at the Month of Hope event. It was inspiring to hear about the vital work they’re doing to support families and young people across Bolton.

Time 2 Talk Mediation helps young people (aged 11-25) and their parents or carers who may be struggling with communication or conflict at home. Through a voluntary and confidential mediation process, they create a safe space where families can talk openly, rebuild trust, and strengthen relationships.

Their work not only helps to reduce family breakdowns but can also prevent young people from becoming homeless ,making a real difference in our community.

If you know a family or young person who might benefit from this service, or if you work with organisations supporting young people, I’d really encourage you to reach out to Time 2 Talk Mediation to find out more.

💬 Mediation helps people move forward not by deciding who’s right or wrong, but by finding understanding and building better communication.

Great to be getting out and about again to promote the excellent work of Time 2 Talk Mediation

When planning my recent youth drop-in, I discovered Time 2 Talk. They mediate between young people and their parents/carers where there is conflict in the family; and help prevent youth homelessness.

If you think they can help, please get in touch with them: [email protected] or 01204 335258
