💦 BABY TASTER LESSON – TUESDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER 💦

Thinking about starting swimming lessons with your baby? Come and experience The Splash Academy with a Baby Taster Lesson designed especially for little ones aged 0–12 months. 💛

Our taster lesson is a lovely opportunity to experience our warm, purpose-built pool, meet our team and discover how we gently introduce babies to the water through confidence, connection, development and lots of little splashes. 💦

💛 A HEARTFELT THANK YOU FROM ALL OF US AT THE SPLASH ACADEMY 💛

As we head into our summer break, we just wanted to say the biggest thank you to all our wonderful families for the beautiful cards, thoughtful gifts and incredibly kind words for our team.

They are never expected, but they mean so much to us. 💛

We feel incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful community of families around us, and your kindness and support are appreciated more than you know.

💦 The Splash Academy is now closed for swimming lessons for our summer break, and lessons will resume on Wednesday 2nd September.

However, our administration and bookings remain OPEN throughout the break, so if you have any questions, would like to enquire about a class or know another family who would love to start their swimming journey with us, we are still here to help.

And while we are taking a little break from lessons, we would love you to spread the word! Please tell your friends, family and fellow parents about The Splash Academy and help us welcome even more little swimmers into our Splash family this September. 💦

We never expect cards, gifts or anything in return — being trusted to be part of your little one’s swimming journey is more than enough. 💙

But receiving words like these really does mean the world to us. 🥹

From those very first swims, tiny kicks and nervous splashes, to watching our little swimmers grow in confidence, learn new skills and become water-loving little people… it’s the memories and relationships we build along the way that make what we do so special. 🫶🏼

So when a family takes the time to put their feelings into words, it’s something we treasure. 💙

Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of such a big chapter in your little one’s life. 🏊‍♀️✨

💙 And just like that… they’re ready for the big pool. 🥹🏊‍♀️
This week, we’ve been saying some very special goodbyes to our swimmers as they graduate and take the next exciting step in their swimming journey and today, we’re celebrating this very special little group which Jess has taught, supported and watched grow.

Some of these swimmers were just 8 weeks old when they first came through our doors. Tiny babies experiencing their very first splashes, kicks and little moments of bravery… and now, somehow, they’re swimming lengths confidently and independently. 🥹💦
There’s something so incredibly special about watching that journey unfold.

But what makes this class even more special is that they’ve grown through it all together. ❤️
Week after week, they’ve consistently turned up, shared the highs and lows, celebrated each other’s achievements and created such a beautiful bond along the way.

What started as a group of tiny babies has grown into a little community of swimmers who have shared so many memories together. Watching their friendships, confidence and swimming abilities grow side by side has been truly special.

Jess has been there through it all, the wobbles, the giggles, the breakthroughs and those little moments that might seem small, but mean everything. And now she gets to watch those same tiny babies become confident swimmers ready for their next adventure.

From their very first splash… to swimming their own lengths. 🌊

We are SO proud of them and incredibly excited to see where their swimming takes them next, but there’s always a little lump in the throat when a class you’ve known for so long graduates and we have to say goodbye.

To our graduating swimmers… keep swimming, keep being brave and keep believing in yourselves.

What a privilege it has been to watch you grow.

Here’s to the next chapter, little swimmers. We couldn’t be prouder. 🌊💙

FREE BABY & PRESCHOOL SWIMMING SESSIONS THIS AUGUST! 💦

We are on our summer break from next week but have got some good news! 💛

As part of a Baby & Preschool Swimming Teaching Course being delivered by LQT, they will be delivering a number of FREE swimming lessons at The Splash Academy.

These sessions are open to anyone, subject to availability, and are a lovely opportunity to enjoy some extra pool time during the holidays. 💦

Swimming session times:

📅 Thursday 20th August
🕐 1.00pm – 3.00pm

📅 Friday 21st August
🕐 1.00pm – 3.00pm

📅 Saturday 22nd August
🕞 3.30pm – 5.00pm

Individual lesson times will be organised within these periods.

✨ The best bit? You can still enjoy swimming with your little one while The Splash Academy is on its summer break!
