☀️ Stay Safe and Keep Cool During this Heatwave! ☀️

We hope everyone is managing to stay safe and cool during another heatwave this summer!

Please remember to look after yourselves and each other by following these simple tips:

💧 Stay hydrated
Drink plenty of water and other fluids throughout the day, and try to avoid excessive alcohol consumption.

☀️ Limit sun exposure
Avoid spending long periods in direct sunlight between 11am and 3pm, when UV rays are at their strongest.

🏠 Keep your home cool
Close windows, curtains, and blinds during the hottest part of the day to help keep warm air out.

👕 Wear light clothing
Choose loose-fitting, light-coloured clothing to help your body stay cool.

🧊 Use fans and ice
Use fans to circulate air and place a bowl of ice or cold water in front of a fan for an extra cooling effect.
