The truth is: parents were never meant to hold this much alone.

What breaks families isn’t the child.
And it isn’t just the system.
It’s the impossible space in between — where genuine needs meet a wall of “not our remit,” “not enough evidence,” and “come back when it gets worse.”

Parents are trying to meet their child’s needs and navigate a system that was never designed to support them.
They’re regulating emotions, managing behaviours, advocating in every direction, and absorbing the fallout of unmet needs, all while fighting for basic support that should have been automatic.

It’s the forms.
The waiting lists.
The assessments that go nowhere.
The professionals who don’t listen.
The meetings that change nothing.
The services that don’t join up.
The battles that never end.

And they’re doing all of this while carrying the guilt, the fear, the exhaustion, and the constant pressure to “hold it together” for everyone else.

Families aren’t overwhelmed because they’re failing.
They’re overwhelmed because they’re doing the job of an entire system, every single day, with no margin, no backup, and no support.

Good news!!

We are very pleased to share that our client, Motley Kru CIC, has been successful with their funding application to UnLtd to support their start up journey.

We fully believe in The Motley Kru CIC’s vision to be part of the solution for NEETS in Wigan through their Thai Boxing & Education programmes.

Well Done 👏🏽 and we are so glad to be on this journey with them.

What does being rooted in Grassroots Communities look like for you?

For us, it means meeting people where they are at. Lindsay lives close to Higher Folds, Leigh, is passionate about supporting residents across Higher Folds in gaining back control of their physical health, her new venture to be revealed and will be instrumental in building trust and health. Unfortunately Lindsay herself has had a physical set back and very frustrated. Being able to support project leaders with their vision for social change by meeting them where they're at is at the heart of what we do. Unfortunately our role of supporting new start ups directly in the Community is not yet economically valued.
Eclipse: Fitness & Massage

Lindsay is also supported by HF Works a local Community Project, all support is local.
