We are currently looking for a Childcare Practitioner to join our out of school team. Applicants must be able to show excellent team working skills and posses the ability to work using their own initiative.

Communication and interpersonal skills are vital requirements along with the ability to interact with and support children and young people.

Post - Childcare Practitioner

Qualifications - SVQs in playwork or equivalent or SVQ Qualification access can be offered to successful candidates

Pay is dependant on qualifications.

Hours will be worked within these times- Breakfast Club 7.30am-9.00am, After School Club 2.30 - 5.30pm - Friday 12.00 - 5.30pm

Hours - 16 hours

**RECRUITMENT**

BASC is a leading childcare provider in Midlothian offering affordable breakfast clubs, after school clubs and holiday clubs for primary school aged children in. Children start their morning by having a healthy breakfast in a relaxed care setting. Our after school clubs provide a forum for free play. Our full day holiday clubs are extended to all families in Midlothian.
In March 2020 we successfully gained ownership of our own nursery building via community asset transfer, the first in Midlothian. This allowed us to expand our breakfast and after nursery care service whilst increasing our capacity to deliver full time early learning and childcare to 3-5 year old children all year round.
