A successful Health Improvement Day was recently held at HMP Shotts, led by Health Improvement Practitioner Robyn Foster with support from SPS staff.

The event brought together more than 16 partner organisations, including the establishment's Support and Wellbeing Team, Oral Health (NHS), Families Outside and Macmillan Cancer Support Scotland, to promote health and wellbeing among people in custody.

Individuals had the opportunity to access information, advice and practical support on a wide range of health and wellbeing issues.

Thank you to all our partner organisations for their valuable contribution to the day. By working collaboratively, they helped raise awareness of available services, promote healthier lifestyles and support positive changes that can improve long-term wellbeing for those in our care.
