🚨☀️🌊 May Half-term HEATWAVE 🌊☀️🚨
The May half-term holiday week brought huge crowds to our East Dorset beaches and our RNLI lifeguards were there on duty to ready to keep bathers safe.
📊 Thousands of preventative actions carried out
🚑🔎🛟 Multiple first aids and serious incidents attended
An incredibly busy few days for our team. Across all our main-season beaches, new and experienced lifeguards were on patrols supervising, preventing and responding to incidents. Demonstrating high levels of professionalism, skill and teamwork our lifeguards worked tirelessly in the extreme heat and crowds to save lives and assist on our beaches. They co-ordinated life saving responses and collaborated with other emergency services to ensure the best care and outcomes for all incidents.
We’d personally like to thank the , and , , and teams who have also been very busy, responding to incidents and supporting our lifeguard teams on the beach, we couldn’t do it without you.
