Hi, my name is Laura, I'm 30 and I've been registered with Ofsted since July 2012 and trained as a childminder since March 2011. (I took time off with my my youngest for maternity leave before setting up as a childminder!) I live Bournemouth with my fiancé and our two daughters who are 2 and 8 years old. I aim to provide a warm, friendly and fun home from home environment where children are encour
aged to learn and grow through creative child led play. I can offer a well equipped enclosed garden with playhouse, slide, swing, mud kitchen, pirate flag, water table, sowing area, chalkboard and lots more! I visit many of the local play groups run by the local authority as well as Debutots & Wriggle and Rhyme sessions at local libraries. I also volunteer at Sweet Peas play group which is run by a fantastic childminder. We also take part in the Early Explorers sessions at the beautiful Russell Cotes Museum. We have a huge range of toys from newborn to 30!! I also offer trips to the beach, local parks and other day trips. I have a full clean driving licence and have been driving for 14 years without any accidents. My fiancé is a mechanic and maintains the car for me and he's extremely protective of us! I can offer breakfast club and after school care. In my setting, children are encouraged to reach their full potential and activities are tailored appropriately for each child whilst still encouraging the children to try new things. Children are also encouraged to explore their surroundings and develop their knowledge and understanding of the world and I place a keen focus on building each child's confidence and empathy for others to help them make the right choices. I have two children of my own, the eldest is 8 and the youngest is 2. Additionally, I was a teenager when my mum had my brother and sister. I have 8 nephews and nieces also so am completely used to being covered in food, snot and wet kisses!! I have been childminding since December 2012 and am throughly enjoying seeing each child develop and grow. My favourite sound has to be hearing the children giggle and snigger from their own jokes!! My Qualifications
I hold a full enhanced DBS check as does my partner. I hold a valid paediatric first aid certificate and am registered with Ofsted and the local authority childminding team. I carried out my childminding training with the local authority - BIQCP

I am available from 8.00am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday. Hours outside of this would be negotiable and charged at a higher rate. I am also available for holiday cover for school children on a pre-booked basis. I can accept Childcare vouchers and am currently registered with Edenred, Kiddivouchers and Computershare.
