Last Monday, the first of our Flying Supervisors commenced their conversion training on the Viking T Mk 1 (the military variant of the Grob 103 Twin Acro) at the Royal Air Force Central Gliding School, RAF Syerston. Conversion training will be conducted throughout November / early December in order to restart flying at Royal Air Force Little Rissington in the early new year.

We also welcome 621 Volunteer Gliding Squadron over the next few weeks, as they join us from their former home at Buckley Barracks (Hullavington), until a new site is stood up for them.

Associated picture shows ZE 650 being flown by Flying Officer Pennock (637 VGS) and ZE 555 being flown by Flight Lieutenant Webb (621 VGS).
