This week sees another of the monthly veteran’s breakfasts, a great local author event, a Friends Quiz and a Back to School Quiz, a car show in Syresham, the Wombles are out and about on Saturday plus Brackley Care Home have their annual Paw Parade event. It’s still busy in and around Brackley!

MEN IN SHEDS
Every Thursday 10:00am – 4:00pm Evenley Wood Gardens
Men in sheds is based at Evenly Woods on a Tuesday and Thursday from 1000am. Open to men and women of all ages, come and visit for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat. For more information, ring Mike on 07799898833

It is a social supermarket stocked with donated food and food purchased through fundraising initiatives. Annual joining fee £10 then it’s pay as you go. Brackley Care Home’s annual event to raise money for Dogs For Good. With pet themed stalls, ice creams, refreshments, a raffle as well as the 7 categories to enter your dog to win.
To enter your dog it’s £2 per entry, registration on the day to be done before 1:45pm.

BRACKLEY SOCIAL NETBALL
Every Monday 7:00pm -8:30pm Brackley Leisure Centre
Brackley social netball need more players. They are a fun group of netballers who play on Monday at the leisure centre from 7-8:30. £6 a week, pay as you play. If you’ve not played since school this is the place for you as that’s how most if them got hit into it. If you’ve never played before, come see if you like it, 1st week is free. BRACKLEY SEA CADETS
Every Monday 6:45pm – 9:00pm Brackley Bowls Club
Brackley sea cadets take kids from 9-18 all for £20 a month.
In the sea cadets they spend their winter learning all sorts of specialised training as well as being taught commitment, respect and responsibility. In the summer they go boating every week where they teach the kids sailing, rowing, paddlesport and power boating and they can gain many internationally recognised qualifications.
