The Sylvia's Garden Committee met at Newbold November 23, to discuss the latest development. The meeting was short and we were briefed on the status of the repair that has to take place due to the wind "taking good care" of the pillars and pergola. The committee will meet again in February 2017.

The management group had another meeting last week where we looked at various issues. We plan to put some signs up in the garden that explain some of the structures, and we also plan for the Heritage Open Day in September.
As Sylvia's Garden is the smaller part of the Moor Close Gardens, a new website is under construction at http://moorclosegardens.org.uk . Official material and brochures will mention the Moor Close Gardens and the website will promote the whole area. Both websites will complement each other.

We are expanding our online presence. A new domain is now active and will be hosting more details about the extended garden named "Moor Close Gardens". The website will be active on moorclosegardens.org.uk in a few days.

Autumn has been stunning in the Moor Close Gardens this year!
