New year and a new project!

We have just set up site for 21 weeks at Building 4, The Heights in Weybridge. Carrying out a full internal fit out of 30,000sq/ft to the ground floor for Petroleum Geo-Services. A great location right next to the old Brooklands race track.

It has been a long time in the planning but we are excited to get underway. From initial concept designs, through to 3D renders and eventually completed installation.

Creating an open plan work environment with centralised collaborative meeting areas, cellular focus rooms and large conference rooms.
Reintroducing a serviced kitchen and canteen, and a gym complete with shower/changing rooms.
Bold feature walls throughout and ceiling and lighting details in client facing areas.

We are very happy to announce that Candor Commercial Projects have just completed the handover of a landlord dilapidations for a tenants end of lease in Stockley Park, Middlesex.

The building work to the 8,000 sq/ft space consisted of a complete strip out of Client installed finishes; walls, floors, doors, security, power and data. Configuration of the Landlords HVAC and M&E back to original. Followed by installation of new Desso Airmaster carpet and a complete redecorate throughout.

All work was carried out from January to March, under strict Covid-19 lockdown Government guidelines, delays on materials were relatively minimal and did not impact much on the completion of work.

Been rather remiss with updates on FB! Currently undertaking 1000m2 dilapidations project over 2 floors. Empty building. Perfect for working at a distance! Very proud of Candor’s contractors. I’ve worked with all this team for over 4 years and with half of them for nearly 20 years! Friends as well as workmates 👍👍

Complete refurbishment of the first floor office and break out space for our neighbours in Bracknell. Refreshing the look of the entire office and a more contemporary look and re-arranging the store and meeting room to the Ground floor.

Works consisted of demolition and removal of the existing furniture, partitions, ceilings, services and tea point.

Construction of new solid and glazed partitions with solid timber veener doors.
New Burmatex carpet in office areas and Karndean vinyl in the tea point.
Howdens Clerkenwell kitchen with metro tile splashback.
LED flat panel lighting to bring a more consistant lighting to the building.
Brand new Sven Christiansen office furniture, desks, storage, chairs and meeting tables.

Not shown is full racking in a newly built store room. Redecorated store and meeting room. Re-carpet and decorate to communal areas.
Intercom and alarm system.

Existing toilet finishes covered over in floor latex screen and floor vinyl, walls covered in white PVC cladding with heat joint.
IPS panels and cubicles replaced for contemporary finish with s/steel ironmongery and sanitary ware.

Install of new solid and glazed partitions, complete redecorate throughout, walls and timbers. Carpetted throughout in checker board pattern, colours to match through with previous offices we have refurbished for this Client.

On completion, the ground floor consists of 22 state of the art laboratories, with a mixture of water, gas, power and data supplies, upgraded and reconfigured air-handling system and LED light panels. Automated access control for staff, new fire alarm, and CCTV security.

Conversion of warehouse into laboratory, requirement to knock out no-load bearing block wall and tie in finishes between the areas.
1700m2 of latex screed and cap and cove floor vinyl throughout.

Bespoke work benches designed for ideal workflow, built from easy clean melamine board and worktops.Top and bottom presented power in water resistant sockets.

Point of use hot water supply and waste to knee operated hand wash basins.

All spaces have been designed for future expansions, with fallow rooms and capacity for increase HVAC and M&E.
