Shipley Library will be holding their next Dementia Information Event in partnership with the Admiral Nursing Team on Wednesday 9th September from 11.30am-1.30pm.

There will be a short presentation about Dementia followed by the opportunity to talk to various organisations in regard to information and support available.

All welcome - Refreshments will be provided.

We had some AMAZING songwriters in our libraries today as part of the Summer Reading Challenge 'Read to the Beat'. We were very cool and bang on trend creating vinyl. We wrote songs, created band names (like Screaming Sausages, featuring Hotdog Harris!)and designed our own record labels and covers...

We had an AMAZING time with our Young Entrepreneurs this summer in the library. They made over £500 between them, selling at Shipley Town Council Summer Fun Day. We hope to repeat the event at Christmas but for now... we have an inspiring event for youngsters aged 14 plus.

GET TO KNOW ‘LIVING WELL’
Living Well Bradford invites community organisations and those interested in finding out more about living well to a ‘get to know you event’ being held at Shipley Library Business hub.

Come and find out about who we are and what we offer from community support, stop smoking services, schools and workplaces, school uniforms and services to support the health and well-being of our communities across Bradford.

Plus a Smoothie Bike will be available for anyone who wants to make themselves a healthy drink!
