Tonight's event was so special. We had a woman come all the way from Cornwall to our gig AND we had these two very special guests. They are Sid and Gus Davidson-Hawley. Their parents, Rebecca Whitney and Tommy Davidson-Hawley bought their house from Alex and Louise Eaton who established the Topic Folk Club 70 years ago! Strangely, Tommy is also a musician! They came to the gig and loved it. They said their house is so special as many famous musicians spent the night on their living room floor back in the days when Alex and Louise were the owners!

Live Music always brings people together and Shipley loves it's live music. Thank you so much, you were a fantastic audience for the Topic Folk Club and made their 70th anniversary so special. Thanks to the club too, for fantastic performances and such an interesting history!
