Our library service ensures YOU are always learning. Here, 's very own Queen of Crime, Liz Mistry tells us what she learnt today at Lucy Brighton Author afternoon workshop in Shipley Enterprise Hub (Shipley Library). The Hub was set up by Shipley Town Council to help entrepreneurs and small businesses thrive. Today, self- published authors learnt how to market their work and grow their audience in a fantastic workshop. Here's what Liz Mistry had to say about it.

A THRILLING time was had by everyone who attended Lucy Brighton Author workshops at Shipley Library today. Lucy did two workshops. Her first, How to Write a Killer Thriller, left participants thoroughly inspired.

Join us for a family-friendly adventure as we explore Shipley Glen with a sensory trail in nature:
We will stop to listen to sounds in nature and draw a sound map.
We will play a game where we look for different textures, using magnifying glasses and mirrors to look at nature up close!
The we’ll head back to Bracken Hall for refreshments and enjoy nature themed arts and crafts.
Come dressed for the outdoors, bring your sense of adventure and come ready to explore the magic of Shipley Glen with us.
